Why I am a Financial Advisor:

As a child, my father told me, “I don’t care what you do with your life as long as you serve your community.” With that in mind, I’ve made a career of helping people understand the complex interplay of personal wealth and the economy. It boils down to the old adage “men at work or money at work.”  If you are retired you are living the realities of “money at work” and if you’re not retired, it means planning for that certainty.   With 28 years of experience working with high net worth individuals, I’ve seen what works and what does not. I’m fascinated by how the newest and latest popular theory of maintaining financial security frequently fails under the harsh light of economic reality.

Far too often people listen to what’s popular or what is easy. Unfortunately, far too often this only results in financial disaster. It is a sad fact that most retirees fail financially, ending up on social security as their only support. I find this unacceptable and am motivated to keep my clients from being part of that statistic. This is why I get great fulfillment creating models to help clients visualize their future and achieve their goals. Financial success is the result of a disciplined approach, many times thinking outside of the box and occasionally killing a few sacred cows along the way.
